Responsibilities

As a Midas Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for a wide range of vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs, including:

  • Diagnostics using advanced computer systems

  • Tire repair and installation

  • Heating and A/C repair

  • Steering and suspension work

  • Belt and hose replacement

  • Radiator and cooling system service

  • Battery, starting, and charging diagnostics

  • Brake service and repairs

  • Oil changes and routine maintenance

  • Check engine light diagnostics

  • Muffler and exhaust system repair

  • Visual safety and courtesy inspections

Qualifications

  • Ability to diagnose and repair vehicles independently and collaboratively

  • Strong knowledge in brakes, suspension, exhaust, and engine diagnostics

  • Consistent track record of personal productivity and reliability

  • Knowledge of safety/environmental regulations for repair facilities

  • Experience with shop equipment: lifts, alignment machines, tire changers, scan tools, etc.

  • High School diploma or equivalent (technical degree is a plus)

  • Valid drivers license

  • State-specific certifications (where required)

  • Own tools and equipment (diagnostic scanner preferred)

  • Ability to service both foreign and domestic vehicles
