The Director of Corporate Communications is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive communications strategy that enhances the organizations reputation, strengthens brand equity, and ensures consistent and effective messaging across all internal and external channels. This leader oversees media relations, executive communications, crisis management, employee communications, and thought leadership initiatives.

In addition:

  • Manages, develops, and implements a comprehensive strategic communications program for the organization.
  • Effectively presents the organizations story to the public.
  • Develops and delivers internal and external (advertising, publicity) communications and publications, such as brochures, annual reports, quarterly newsletters, crisis management manuals and quick reference cards, media kits, feature stories, press releases, advertisements, posters, and billboards.
  • Builds relationships with news media, including television, radio, newspapers, and wire services.
  • Is available and prepared to respond to media in the event of a crisis or other newsworthy event.
  • Secures on-air interviews, both radio and television, for the President and CEO and/or the Chairman of the Board.
  • Secures or provides photography, as needed. Writes speeches for executives and/or Board members, as needed.
