The salary range for this role is: $139,123.17 - $250,289.63

Responsibilities:

The Director of Sales for the Club Channel will oversee merchandising, assortment, pricing, and shelving objectives for Costco and BJs, ensuring alignment with fiscal goals.

This role involves direct sales responsibilities for Costco HQ/PL initiatives, regional management, international business (Mexico, Asia, Europe), BJs Wholesale, and strategy & innovation for Costco and BJ's.

The role reports to two direct managers: BDM Club West and BDSM Club East.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve fiscal year financial metrics aligned with sales and trade spend plans
  • Develop customer-specific objectives supporting Del Monte’s strategic plan
  • Execute merchandising, pricing, and GDP growth strategies
  • Manage customer development, including partnerships and new item development
  • Develop and submit bids and contracts for distribution opportunities
  • Coordinate plant tours, forecast development, and international compliance
  • Train internal teams on customer requirements
  • Create and track annual strategic plans for growth
  • Leverage cross-functional resources for volume and share growth

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 10+ years retail sales experience in CPG or with a broker; 5+ years in Club channel sales
  • Proven success in sales planning, forecasting, trade spend, and innovation
  • Deep knowledge of Costco and Club culture, private label launches, and go-to-market strategies
  • Strong P&L, data analysis, and strategic presentation skills
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and proficiency in MS Office
