Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time position offers the opportunity to work as a Special Education Teacher for Pre-K and lower elementary grade levels during the 2025-2026 school year in Ashland, WI. The role involves supporting a classroom of 6-10 students, providing tailored educational strategies to meet the unique needs of each learner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement individual education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
  • Deliver engaging lessons adapted for Pre-K and lower elementary students.
  • Collaborate with therapy and support staff to optimize student progress.
  • Monitor and document student development and behavioral progress.
  • municate regularly with families and school staff regarding student goals and achievements.

Qualifications:

  • Wisconsin State Special Education Teaching Certification is required.
  • Experience working with students with Autism is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong munication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
