Since beginning as a frontend/view builder, weve expanded our offerings with products that help developers manage their controller and model layersWorkflows and RetoolDB, respectively. Retools multi-product surface area enables our users to build full-stack apps entirely within Retool or use our products on a standalone basis to address more bespoke needs.
Data is the fuel that powers Retool apps and workflows, and our Resources team is central to making this data accessible, seamless, and powerful for our users. Your teams primary responsibility will be to ensure that this data fuel is readily available and scalable to support new use cases built on Retool. As we expand, we're looking for a Resources Engineering Manager who combines technical expertise with a product-driven mindset, deftly balancing day-to-day execution with longer-term thinking to lead this team in supporting Retools rapidly growing ecosystem. This role is crucial for building resilient backend infrastructure, driving feature development, and deepening integration with the platforms that power Retool, ensuring our products continue to serve our users without limitations.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As the Resources Engineering Manager, youll lead a team dedicated to enabling data connectivity and usage across Retool. Youll play a key role in making sure our users can effortlessly connect, manage, and utilize data from a wide array of sources to build powerful internal tools. THE SKILLSET YOU'LL BRING:
For candidates based in San Francisco, the pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings (OTE) for commissionable roles. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Retool and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors such as (but not limited to), scope and responsibilities, the candidates experience and qualifications, and location.
Additional compensation in the form(s) of equity, and/or commission/bonuses are dependent on the position offered. Retool provides a comprehensive benefit plan, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). Pay and benefits are subject to change at any time, consistent with the terms of any applicable compensation or benefit plans.
