**Stand-Up Forklift Operator - Franklin Park, IL** **1ST AND 2ND SHIFT** **$19/HR** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts, including Crown Stand Up Reach and Stand Up Forklifts, within our warehouse. This role involves handling materials, shipping and receiving, and inventory management in a **freezer environment.** **Responsibilities** + Operate Crown Stand Up Reach, Stand Up Forklift, and Reach Truck. + Handle materials in a warehouse setting, including loading and unloading trucks. + Conduct inventory checks and cycle counting. + Utilize RF scanners for inventory management. + Maintain compliance with GMP standards while handling food products. + Work efficiently in a freezer environment, managing time spent in cold areas based on product movement. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in operating stand up forklifts and reach trucks. + Experience in shipping and receiving, picking, and using pallet jacks. + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. + Familiarity with RF scanners and inventory management. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in a food manufacturing environment is beneficial. + Ability to work at a very fast pace and adapt to constant movement. + Willingness to work in a freezer environment with breaks every hour. **Why Work Here?** Join our team and enjoy the benefit of receiving new cold gear after a full week of work. Forklift operators will primarily work in a freezer environment but are given a 10-minute break every hour to step away from the cold. Shifts available are from 8am to 5:30pm, requiring a high level of activity throughout the day **Worksite Location** Franklin Park, Illinois, United States **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Franklin Park, IL. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
