The Mac-A-Cheek Foundation for the Humanities (MFH) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1996 to support educational experiences inside and on the grounds of Piatt Castle Mac-A-Cheek. Educational activities include interpretive tours, exhibits, public events, publications related to the collection, and projects to expand visitor access; sections of Piatt Castle Mac-A-Cheek have been open to the public since 1912 as a private, family‑managed museum attraction. Position Interim Executive Director (Temporary) Responsibilities Develop and execute donor campaigns, including individual giving and corporate sponsorships. Identify and apply for grants to support operations and programming. Develop partnerships with businesses, educational institutions, and cultural organizations. Develop and execute a fundraising plan. Marketing and community engagement. Develop outreach strategies to attract participants, volunteers, and supporters. Administrative and compliance oversight, including grant reporting, tax filings, and nonprofit regulations by maintaining records, donor databases, and financial tracking for transparency. Develop a plan to hire a permanent executive director.
