Join our Finance team as an intern and gain hands-on experience that will kickstart your career! Reporting directly to the VP of Finance Operations, you'll take on real Finance projects that will challenge and grow your skills. You'll learn essential tasks like preparing journal entries, processing invoices and patient refunds, assisting with tax compliance and financial analysis. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:

• Participate in the monthly close process through preparation of journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations and data analysis.
• Analyze and research financial information pertaining to statements of operations, balance sheet, equity roll forward and cash flow statement.
• Assist in the preparation and review of monthly actual business performance vs. budgets and with investigating and explaining variances.
• Assist in the preparation of tax compliance deliverables.
• Process patient invoice corrections and refunds.
• Process vendor invoices for payment.
• Additional duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Must either be enrolled and in the process of completing a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
• Proficient with computers and different finance software programs, including a strong knowledge of excel.
• Must have effective written and verbal communication skills to build string interpersonal relationships.
• Have strong organization and time management skills with the ability to work without distraction.
• Must have completed introductory business courses and have a basic understanding of financial principles.
• Be an excellent team player.
• Ability to develop good working relationships at all levels both within and outside the organization.
• Strong communication skills with an ability to adapt tone and style to a variety of audiences.
• Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work onsite at the Corporate Office in Bellevue, WA for a minimum of 3 days a week. May work in remote office locations on Wednesdays and Fridays.

COMPENSATION:

This is a Non-exempt position with an hourly range of $16.00 - $20.00/hour, depending on experience.

Compensation Range

$16—$20 USD

Pay may vary by location, and actual compensation depends on factors like qualifications, experience, skills, and business needs. Sono Bello may adjust this range in the future. Full-time employees may also receive benefits such as incentives, equity, health coverage, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
