Job Description

TrustPoint.One has partnered with a prominent plaintiff’s law firm in the heart of Philadelphia in their search for an experienced Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join their high-performing litigation team on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with one of the firm’s top trial attorneys on high-stakes medical malpractice and personal injury matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys in all phases of complex litigation
  • Draft pleadings, discovery requests/responses, expert letters, and more
  • Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries
  • Manage case files, organize trial materials, and assist with trial prep
  • E-file court documents and handle filings in the Philadelphia court system
  • Schedule and coordinate depositions, hearings, and meetings
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients, experts, and courts

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of litigation experience
  • Prior experience with medical malpractice and personal injury cases
  • Familiarity with Philadelphia court procedures
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative legal team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree a plus, but not required
