Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee all aspects of maintenance operations within our food production facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance, with specific expertise in refrigeration systems , food safety compliance, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the maintenance team to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
  • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of production equipment, refrigeration systems, and facility infrastructure.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures aligned with food safety and regulatory standards.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues to maintain continuous production.
  • Manage inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, FDA, and other relevant safety and quality regulations.
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to support operational goals.
  • Train and mentor maintenance staff, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of maintenance experience in a food production or manufacturing environment.
  • Proven expertise in industrial refrigeration systems (e.g., ammonia, Freon).
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and PLC systems.
  • Experience leading maintenance teams and managing projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or degree preferred.
