Job Type: Contract/Temp (potential to convert) Duration: 4 Months Pay Rate: $28.00/hour Location: Cambridge, MA 02139 Overview About the Role Our client is seeking a Medical Assistant Urgent Care to cover an extended leave. Key responsibilities include charting, checking vitals, and occasional phlebotomy. Patient volume is 14-25 patients daily. This role is ideal for someone who is team oriented, dependable, with a high-level of professional standards. Key Requirements/Qualifications Prior experience as a medical assistant Experience with Cerner preferred but will accept similar technologies including Epic Certifications and a college degree BLS certification acceptable agency: American Red Cross or American Heart Association Work Schedule Must be available to work three 12-hour shifts and one 4-hour shift per week Every third week work two 12-hour shifts, one 4-hour shift, and a weekend shift (Sat. and Sun. 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM) Must be available to work minor holidays (10:00 AM - 4:00 PM) The client will consider candidates who desire Mon - Fri (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) Equal Opportunity & Accommodations nextSource is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
