Responsibilities

• Deliver mental health services to children within school environments across Brevard County.
• Work collaboratively with school staff and families in Brevard County to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Engage in regular supervision and training sessions.
• Maintain accurate client records using our EMR system.

Requirements

• Education: A Masters degree or higher in a mental health-related field such as Clinical Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• Licensure: Opportunities for licensed mental health therapists, registered interns, or those eligible for licensure in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy. Unsure about your eligibility? Check here: Florida Mental Health Professions.
• Experience: At least one year of experience working with children aged 0-8 in Social Work, Mental Health, or related fields.
• Knowledge: Understanding of childhood development.
• Background Check: Ability to pass a comprehensive background screening.

Work Location

• Schools and various locations within Brevard County.
• Services also provided at our inviting office in Cocoa Village, Brevard County.
• If you live within Brevard County, we have referrals and children to serve within every elementary school in Brevard County, including but not limited to Titusville, Melbourne, Cocoa, and Palm Bay.
