Nontenure Faculty Pool - Department of Finance and Economics Join to apply for the Nontenure Faculty Pool - Department of Finance and Economics role at Texas State University The Department of Finance and Economics seeks to develop a pool of candidates for possible temporary/nontenured faculty to teach in Finance, Economics, and/or Business Law. For information about the College visit the Department of Finance and Economics website. Temporary/nontenured faculty are appointed to teach one to four courses per semester. Teaching appointments are based upon student demand on a semester-by-semester basis. Eligibility for annual reappointment is contingent upon satisfactory annual performance evaluations during the term period, in addition to continuity of funding and departmental/school/program need. Successful candidates may teach at TXST's campus in San Marcos, TX; TXST's campus in Round Rock, TX; Dallas College in Dallas, TX; Lone Star College in The Woodlands, TX; San Jacinto College in Houston, TX; or online, depending on the needs of the academic department. This posting is for the fall 2025, spring 2026 and summer 2025/2026 semesters. Please note that this posting is not intended to convey that such a need currently exists.
