In this role, you and your co-driver will operate a full-size cargo van, responsible for the timely and safe delivery of goods across various routes. The position combines the freedom of being on the open road with the support and extensive network of an experienced company. Coordinate with logistics teams to plan routes and track deliveries. Ensure safe operation of the vehicle and compliance with all highway regulations. Manage and maintain travel and cargo documentation. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance. Plan routes and meet delivery schedules. Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures. Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions. Report defects, accidents, or violations. Proven work experience as a truck driver. Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly. Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations. Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.). Truck maintenance skills.
