Primary Client Contact

• Receipt/Delivery of requests (projections, plan termination, amendments, etc.)
• Delivery of annual administration tasks to client
• Keep Pension Pro information up to date with respect to client contact information and additional plan contact information such as CPA, broker, record specific notes regarding clients and plans

Annual Valuation/Non-Discrimination Testing

• Data & Asset Reconciliation
• Complete final benefit calculations for terminated participants
  • Verify applicability of AFTAP restriction
• Enter DC testing information
  • 401(k), 401(m)
  • Roth Deferrals
  • Safe Harbor, Profit Sharing
• Valuation Processing
  • Review Plan Document for changes (amendments, restatements)
  • Process necessary reports (valuation, testing, etc.)
  • Review all reports for accuracy and reasonableness
• Generate and export to the client folder:
  • Datair valuation report (20XX Datair)
  • AFTAP Certification Letter (BOY valuation)
  • Participant Statements
  • PBGC premium information (if applicable)
  • Missed Quarterly Contribution Notice for participants (if applicable)
• Update valuation report in Word

Plan Filings/Participant Notices

• Form 5500/SF/EZ extensions & annual filing
• PBGC premiums
• PBGC Reportable Event – Missed quarterly contribution
  • Simplified reporting for small plans, Form 10 for large plans
  • Unpaid Minimum Required Contribution
• Missed quarterly contribution participant notice
• AFTAP restriction participant notices
• 1099/945 processing

Experience / Qualifications

• 4 years of experience involving retirement pension administration
• QKA certification 
• QPA certification preferred
