Pilates Instructor Position Summary Pilates Instructors are responsible for supporting all members in championing happier and healthier lives by building and nurturing relationships. They provide a positive member experience that is educational, supportive, and upholds the integrity of the Life Time Brand. Job Duties / Responsibilities Develop safe, professional, and comprehensive client programs that drive client goal achievement and retention Instruct both private and group Pilates classes Monitor and instruct clients during Pilates training sessions on the safe and effective use of the equipment Conduct fitness consultations for new clients including pre-participation screening and goal setting to assess and recommend Pilates training programs Promote and sell Pilates training programs and classes, Group Fitness classes and Personal Training to members Complete all administrative requirements associated with each client’s fitness plan Maintain the cleanliness of the Pilates studio Remain current on certifications and new trends in the industry Educate members on current health and fitness issues and trends Minimum Required Qualifications Experience in Pilates program design Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, kneel and lift up to 50 pounds Education High School Diploma or GED Years of Experience 1 year of personal training experience 6 months of experience in adjusting body alignment, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, and Barrel equipment Licenses / Certifications / Registrations Certified Pilates Trainer CPR and AED Certified Preferred Qualifications College degree in Kinesiology, Sports Medicine or other related field Seniority level Entry level Employment type Full-time Job function Other Industry(s) Wellness and Fitness Services Life Time is a place for everyone.
