(CIFC) Location: Norwalk, CT Job Description CIFC's Norwalk Early Learning Programs are seeking a Child Development Associate (CDA) Specialist to assist in early childhood education settings. The role involves supporting 1-2 classrooms in planning and implementing routines, curriculum, meals, and activities for children aged 6 months to 5 years, including preschool and infant/toddler children. Responsibilities Assist Lead Teachers in classroom activities and routines. Support curriculum implementation and meal planning. Ensure the safety and well-being of children. Perform other duties as assigned to support program goals. Qualifications Must be 18 years or older. High School Diploma or GED (or currently enrolled). Child Development Associate (CDA) Certificate or willingness to obtain within 1 year (employer paid). Basic computer skills (email, word processing, internet). Preferred: Bilingual abilities and early childhood education credits. Health & Physical Requirements Recent documentation of no communicable diseases (e.g., TB, COVID). Fit for duty examination. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
