We are seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations in a fast-paced food production environment. The role is responsible for leading a team of production employees, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are met while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, schedule, and direct daily production activities to meet production goals and customer demand.
• Ensure adherence to food safety, GMP, HACCP, SQF, and other regulatory compliance standards.
• Monitor line performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Train, coach, and develop production team members to improve skills, efficiency, and safety practices.
• Conduct shift meetings, communicate production plans, and maintain accurate records of performance and output.
• Partner with Quality Assurance to ensure product quality standards are consistently met.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing waste, improving yield, and enhancing efficiency.
• Enforce workplace safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA and company guidelines.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, and HR to resolve operational challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a food or beverage manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards (GMP, HACCP, SQF, FSMA).
• Proven leadership ability with excellent communication and team-building skills.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
