Work Schedule: 40 hours a week from October 27th through December 24th

Seasonal Fulfillment Hours: (40 hours a week)

1st Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday -Friday

2nd Shift: 1:00pm- 11:30pm Monday-Thursday

Seasonal hours may vary

SUMMARY:

The primary responsibilities of this role are to provide additional support to the fulfillment department during our busiest time of the year: the holidays. Employees will be cross trained to fulfill all duties and responsibilities, and flexibility is a must. This role will be working in both the retail store and warehouse environment exposed to mild fluctuating temperatures.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and package online orders for shipping.
• Ensure accuracy of shipment contents and address labels.
• Picking, packaging, and shipping orders.
• Maintain product inventory and shipping supplies for fulfillment department.
• Ensure that fulfillment equipment is properly maintained.
• Uphold store maintenance and cleanliness standards.
• Assemble holiday gift baskets and gift tins.
• Ensure proper quality of all products prior to assembling

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma (or equivalent)
• Must be able to read and communicate in English as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail is a must.
• Able to effectively communicate with Supervisors, Managers, and Co-workers and work as a team.
• Willing and able to cross train.
• Able to work and contribute to positive team spirit in group environment.
• Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• General math knowledge.

The Spannuth Family started baking hard and soft pretzels back in the late 1800's. The demand for our hard pretzels increased rapidly because of our "Unique" baking process. Our pretzels burst open creating bubbles and crevices that were crispy, yet crunchy, and full of flavor. As we produced this split-open pretzel we started calling them "Splits.". They were the only one of their kind.

"Shells" are another variation of a Unique Pretzel. We use our split-open baking process to remove the inside of the pretzel and create bite-size hollow pockets. What's left? The best part! The crunchy, tasty outside pretzel shell.

Unique Pretzel Bakery was named as "2016 Snack Producer of the Year" by industry trade publication 'Snack Food & Wholesale Bakery'

Made in the pretzel belt of eastern PA, the 6th generation of the Spannuth family is still using the original recipe. Proud of its quality and high standards of what a pretzel should be by only using our knowledge of the baking process to achieve the finest flavors and textures, not by throwing in unnecessary additives. Through the years, other bakeries have tried to copy our "Splits" without much success. "Splits" are not just another pretzel shaped cracker, they pack a serious crunch and are tantalizing to the palate of any pretzel lover.
