Responsibilities: Manage supplier performaence against key performance indicators (KPIs). Coordinate import formalities with local agents. Collaborate with teams to meet product launch schedules and budgets. Manage inventory transactions accurately in SAP R/3 ERP system. Oversee international and domestic transport logistics. Ensure necessary export documentation if provided by the Plats at or before the Booking with carrier. Provide inventory reports and analysis. Respond to customer & supplier inquiries promptly and professionally. Engage in automation projects with IT to improve daily operations. Maintain scheduling flexibility to interact with international suppliers. Skills and Experience : Minimum of 5 years in Supply Chain or Logistics, focusing on international supply and heavy freight. Proficiency with ERP systems; SAP R/3 preferred. Comprehensive understanding of domestic and international transportation methods. Expertise in warehouse operations and systems. Proven process improvement skills to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Strong analytical skills to derive insights from complex data. Solid inventory management proficiency. Exceptional reporting abilities. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and ERP systems. Knowledge of International Commerce Operations (INCO) trade terms, Harmonized Tariff System (HTS), and Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Ability to manage tasks for multiple projects efficiently and accurately. Keen attention to detail. Capability to work independently and ensure multiple assignments are on track. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to commute to work at Hanover Park IL Office. Japanese language proficiency preferred, as meetings with Japan for support are anticipated. Bilingual in English and Japanese. SAP experience is a plus. Power BI skills are a plus. Self-motivated with a keen interest in making a significant impact in a global supply chain environment.
