Respiratory Therapist - PEDS

We are seeking a compassionate Respiratory Therapist specializing in pediatric care to join our team. In this role, you will provide respiratory support for children with acute or chronic breathing issues, ensuring effective treatment plans tailored to their unique needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess pediatric patients' respiratory conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, ventilator support, or other treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Perform diagnostic tests such as pulmonary function tests or blood gas analysis to monitor progress.
• Collaborate with pediatricians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for children with respiratory conditions.
• Educate families on managing respiratory conditions at home, including the use of equipment like nebulizers or inhalers.
• Maintain accurate records of treatments provided and monitor patients' responses over time.

Work Environment:

• Work in pediatric units within hospitals or specialized children's healthcare facilities equipped with advanced technology for young patients' needs.
