Job Description\n

We are seeking an MRI Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in operating MRI machines efficiently while ensuring patient comfort throughout the scanning process. Responsibilities include coordinating with physicians to provide timely diagnostic imaging results and maintaining a clean and safe scanning facility.

\n\nResponsibilities\n

• Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility.
\n
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging.
\n
• Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure to ensure their comfort.
\n
• Insert IVs when necessary for the tests.
\n
• Document all procedures while maintaining patient confidentiality.
\n
• Perform patient care tasks as needed.
\n

\n\nSchedule\n

This position requires availability for a shift from Sunday to Thursday, 10 PM to 6:30 AM EST. On-call or callback may be necessary during holidays, as per unit needs.

\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n

\n
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience as an MRI Technologist.
\n
• BLS Certification from the American Heart Association only.
\n
• NY State License.
\n
• Experience with GE MRI scanners is mandatory.
\n
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience is preferred.
\n
• ARRT certification or similar is preferred, with willingness to obtain if necessary.
\n
