• Unit: 2NW Advanced Care (ACU/CCU)\n
• Setting: 20-bed ICU/CCU\n
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse\n
• Start Date: January 12, 2026\n
• End Date: April 11, 2026\n
• Duration: 13-week contract\n
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)\n
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed\n
• Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend\n
• Holiday Expectations: Every other holiday\n
• Scrub Color: Any color, professional\n
• Parking: Free employee parking\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Washington RN jobs\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience required\n
• At least 1 previous travel nurse assignment completed\n
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications\n
• Clinical proficiency with patient types: CHF, respiratory distress, ACS, A-fib RVR, DM, blood product administration, bipap, CVA overflow, post-cath patients\n
• Experience with chest tubes, wound vacs, dressing changes, femoral arterial sheath monitoring\n
• Preferred: Art line, Impella, and/or IABP experience\n
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR, Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell, and Phillips monitors is a plus\n

\n\nICU Nurse Responsibilities\n

\n
• Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU/CCU\n
• Administer and monitor IV drips: diltiazem, amiodarone, Lasix, nitro, heparin\n
• Perform and assist with procedures: chest tube management, wound care, dressing changes\n
• Monitor and document telemetry strips; collaborate with telemetry tech and clinical support staff\n
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams: CNAs, respiratory therapists, hospitalists, intensivists\n
• Float as needed to Telemetry, Med-Surg, and Neurology-Medical units\n
• Participate in general hospital orientation and two shifts of unit-specific orientation\n
• Maintain professional standards and provide compassionate patient care\n
