Experienced Underground Core Driller

At Nasco Industrial Services & Supply (NISS), we’re trusted to tackle some of the most challenging drilling projects across the U.S. We’re looking for experienced Underground Drillers who know the craft, take pride in their work, and always put safety first.

What You’ll Do

• Operate & Maintain: Safely set up, operate, and maintain underground drills.
• Lead by Example: Always prioritize safety and environmental standards on-site.
• Solve Problems: Troubleshoot downhole conditions to minimize downtime.
• Mentor & Support: Share your knowledge to help develop helpers and new crew members.
• Stay Organized: Maintain accurate drilling logs, safety checks, and sample tracking.
• Communicate Clearly: Work closely with clients, supervisors, and teammates to keep projects on schedule.
• Travel & Adapt: Work on a variety of sites, sometimes in remote locations and rugged conditions.

What It Takes

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years operating underground core drills.
• Mindset: Safety-driven, reliable, and a team player.
• Physical Readiness: Capable of lifting up to 100 lbs, working 12-hour shifts, and handling all weather conditions.
• Skillset: Mechanical aptitude, situational awareness, and good communication skills.
• Requirements:
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
• Must be 18 or older and legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Work Schedule

• Standard rotations are 7 days on / 7 days off , but schedules may extend longer depending on project requirements and client needs .
• Flexibility for extended assignments is essential, including occasional multi-week rotations away from home.
