Role Overview

The HR Systems Analyst will act as the primary HR liaison for the Workday system, responsible for managing system updates, release cycles, and leading change management initiatives. This role supports teams transitioning from legacy systems such as PeopleSoft and ensures smooth coordination between HR, IT, and business units.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the main HR contact for Workday updates, release planning, and communication with stakeholders
• Collaborate across departments to gather requirements and implement system enhancements
• Develop and execute test plans for new or updated functionalities
• Coordinate configuration changes and system improvements
• Lead change management for users transitioning from PeopleSoft or other legacy platforms
• Maintain thorough documentation of business processes, reports, and integrations
• Troubleshoot system issues in partnership with functional and technical teams
• Stay updated on Workday capabilities and recommend process improvements
• Support the ongoing transition to a low-code environment and broader Workday adoption

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in business process analysis and requirements gathering
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and within teams
