Historieta inspirada en las figuras de dos grandes payadores chilenos, el Mulato Taguada, hijo del pueblo, y don Javier de la Rosa, caballero de la sociedad, a quien le gustaba el pueblo y se "metió en él". Quisimos imaginar su niñez y juventud, cómo aprendieron, cómo se hicieron poetas, tratar de evocar o hasta invocar el tiempo final de la colonia... donde Taguada y de la Rosa pudieron ser dos personas de verdad, o ser una creación popular que habla sobre la inteligencia y el privilegio, entre otras cosas.
